You should note that before you set a social media sales/profit goal for your business, you will need to have done the researches that your business will need to do to profit, in order for you to be able to
- Choose a potentially profitable niche to sell to
- Choose the targets (potential customers) that you will be selling to in your chosen/selected niche
- Define the country(s) and/or location(s) of your chosen targets
- Determine the type of product/service that you will be selling to your chosen targets in the niche

- Determine if your business is potentially profitable enough to make as much as, you may want to set, as your social media sales/profit goal, within the specific period of time that you may have set for it
- Determine that you can get to or reach, as many as the number of buying targets, that you will need to make the $X amount in social media sales/profit, that you may have set/defined, to achieve your business’ social media sales/profit goal
You can do such researches for your business by yourself, with the help of your employees or with the help of third parties.
If you cannot do some or any of the above by yourself, you may need to use other people’s efforts (as your employees, and/or as third parties through outsourcing), in order for you to be able to do these, for your business.
