- Determine the value that you will be providing with the product/service, to your chosen targets, in the niche. You will also need to determine some uniqueness for the product/service and/or your business too
- Determine how much you would want to make in net profit in your business within a specific period of time
- Test the demand for the product/service, in order for you to know if it will sell, before you start with your business and your social media marketing
- Determine how much you will want to make in net profit through the social media, in your business, within some specific period of time (this will be your social media profit goal); this should typically be equal to the $1,000 that you wish to make through the social media, in your business.
- Determine the number of customers/targets that you will need, in order for you to make as much as you want in terms of profits, with the product/service that you may have chosen to sell, in your business, within the specific period you may have defined or set
- Determine the number of potential targets that you will be able to get to or reach on the social media in order for you to be able to make enough sales/profits through the product/service on the social media
You can either do all of the above by yourself, with the help of your employees or with the help of third parties at a fee.
In addition to these, you will also need to
- Create a social media strategy and plan, that can help you to potentially achieve the $1000 social media profit goal, that you may have defined or set for your business
- Create the right amount of relevant and niche related content, ads and offers that sell, that you can use to promote your product/service for profit, on the social media, based on the social media strategy and plan that you may have defined or created, to achieve your $1000 social media profit goal.

If you can do all of the foregoing, and can provide your business with what it needs (in terms of skills, services, resources, tools, people and funds), to achieve the $1000 social media profit goal that you may have set or defined for your business, you are most likely to make the $1000 that you want in net profit, with a product/service through the social media.
