Social Media Marketing: How To Effectively Promote For Profit

To effectively promote for profit in your business on the social media, you will need to promote where you can get to your targets, and should ideally, promote daily and several times in a day too, with or through any of the promotional or ad media/methods, that you may want or will be using for your promotions, whenever possible.

You should ideally get to all your targets daily, several times in a day whether you are just starting newly, or you’ve already established a following on the social media, in order for you to get to more targets and generate more sales, for your business, through the social media.

While you may not be able to do this with every promotional or ad media/methods, that you can use to get to or reach your targets on the social media, you should however, make use of as many promotional or ad media/methods, that you can do this with ethically, on the social media.

You should also make use of any promotional and/or ad media/methods that can help you to get to large number of targets quickly too. With this you will

  • Be able to get to enough number of targets
  • Be able to get to enough number of targets quickly and within a short period of time
  • Be able to determine the results of your promotional campaigns and promotions faster and within a short period of time
  • Be able to quickly test your promotions and promotional campaigns
  • Be able to quickly determine what is working for your business on the social media and what is not
  • You may also be able to get your sales, leads, traffic etc faster too and
  • May also be able to get more sales, leads, traffic etc through the social media with this too

Some of where you can get to a large number of your targets quickly include the following

  • Through Facebook ads, Twitter ads, Pinterest ads etc
  • Through paid ads with social media influencers with large and active following, or several social media influencers, whose total number of active and targeted follower count, add up to a large number of targets
  • Through joint ventures (JVs) with social media influencers with large and active following, or several social media influencers whose total number of targeted and active follower count, add up to a large number of targets
  • Through paid ads on complementary businesses’ (that is, businesses with product/services that are complementary to your product/service) social media profiles, pages or groups, with large and active following or several complementary businesses’ social media profiles, pages or groups, whose total number of active and targeted follower or group member count, add up to a large number of targets
  • Through joint ventures (JVs) on complementary businesses’ social media profiles, pages or groups, with large and active following, or several complementary businesses’ social media profiles, pages or groups, whose total number of active and targeted follower or group member count, add up to a large number of targets
  • Through paid ads on social media groups with large and active targeted members, or several social media groups whose total number of active and targeted group member count, add up to a large number of targets
  • Through joint ventures (JVs) on social media groups with large and active targeted members, or several social media groups whose total number of active and targeted group member count, add up to a large number of targets
  • Through your own social media page(s)/profile(s), if you have a large and active number of targeted followers. Note that you can always promote on your own social media page(s)/profiles(s), whether you have a large number of active followers or not.
  • Through your own social media group(s), if you have an active and a large number of targeted group members. Note that you can always promote on your own social media group(s), whether you have a large number of active members or not.

You should ideally use each and any of these first with your promotions.

If you cannot afford or are unable to use all of these for whatever reasons, in your business however, you can then use any other type of promotional and ad media/methods, that you can afford to use, that can help you to get to or reach your targets on the social media, in your business,.

You Can Start Small

If you want, you can also start small with your promotions, and then grow with it, in order for you to be able to, achieve your social media sales/profit goal. You will generally need to start with what you can afford, if you wish to be successful with your social media marketing in the short and long run.

You Will Need To Do Some Initial Promotions First

You will generally need to start with some initial promotions first, and then track their results, in order for you to be able to know and determine your conversion rates, which is what you will use to know and determine how, where and what to use next in and with your promotions, in your business.

You Should Promote To Your Existing List(s) Too

If you already have some existing lists of customers and/or subscribers, leads, social media followers etc, you should promote to them and can generally start your promotions with them too.

You Will Either Need To Spend Enough Money To Get To Enough Number Of Targets And/Or Use Enough Time and Efforts To Get To Your Targets Organically

You may either choose to spend enough money to get to enough number targets daily, and several times in the day, and as often as you may need to get to them, in order for you to profit and make as much as you may have set, as your sales/profit goal, and/or get to them organically (that is, without paying for advertising).

You can generally get some idea of how much it may cost you to get to enough number targets (in terms of money, time and efforts), within some specific period of time in your business, by using some estimates/projections based on your traffic, leads and sales conversion rates for the social media.

If You Cannot Or Are Unable To Do Your Promotions As Much As You Should By Yourself

If you cannot or are unable to promote as much as you may need to do, in your business in order for you to profit, and make as much as you may have set, as your sales/profit goal, you may need some help on this, that is, you may need some help from an expert social media strategist (that is, a social media expert, who knows how to work the social media to generate sales, and who has some experience with generating some sales for businesses on the social media) on this.

Some Promotional And Ad Media/Methods That You Can Use For Your Promotions

Some of the different types of promotional and ad media/methods that you can use for your promotions on the social media include

  • Social media pages and/or profiles
  • Social media groups
  • Social media page call buttons
  • Social media shops or stores
  • Social media contests
  • Facebook ads, Pinterest ads, Twitter ads etc
  • Facebook messenger chat app
  • Facebook apps (as tools, games etc)
  • etc

Note that, you may generally need to promote for a while on or with, each of the promotional or ad media/method, that you may wish to use with your promotions on the social media, before you can get some results or some appreciable level of results through the social media, in your business.
