Social Media Marketing: Determine What You Can Do By Yourself To Profit

To profit and make some $X (that is, some specific) amount in sales/profit in your business through the social media, you will generally need to first of all do the business researches, that your business will typically need to do in order to profit, that is, you will need to

  • Choose a potentially profitable niche to sell to
  • Choose the targets (potential customers) that you will be selling to in your chosen/selected niche
  • Define the country(s) and/or location(s) of your chosen targets
  • Determine the type of product/service that you will be selling to your chosen targets in the niche
  • Define the value(s) that you will be providing to your chosen targets with your product/service
  • Test the demand for your product/service before you start a business based on it
  • Define a uniqueness for your product/service and/or business, that will provide your targets with a reason, to prefer your product/service and/or business instead of your competitors’
  • Determine how much you would want to make in net profit in your business, from your chosen niche, within a specific period of time, with the product/service that you may have chosen to sell
  • Determine the number of customers/targets that you will need, in order for you to make as much as you want in terms of profits, in your business, within the specific period you may have defined

You will need to determine what you can or cannot do by yourself out of all the above, in your business, in order for you to be able to know and determine, what you may need to pay others to do for you, in your business.

If you cannot do some or any of the above for your business by yourself, you may choose to learn how to do them (you can for instance, learn how to do some of the above in your business with the help of The Profit Blueprint), and/or you may choose to use other people’s efforts to implement or do some or all of the above in your business. You can generally choose to work with an expert, that is, an expert business researcher (as your employee, or as a third party service through outsourcing), on any of the above in your business.

After you may have implemented each of the above in your business, either by yourself or with the help of others (that is, your employee and/or a third party service), you will then need to determine and define all of the following too, that is, you will need to

  • Set a social media sales/profit goal to make some specific $X amount within some specific period of time through the social media in your business
  • Determine that your business is potentially profitable enough to make the specific $X amount in sales/profit, that you may wish to make, through the social media in your business, within the specific period of time that you may have set/defined for it
  • Determine (with some research of the social media) that you can get to or reach, as many as the number of buying targets, that you will need to make the specific $X amount in sales/profit that you may wish to make through social media in your business
  • Create a social media strategy and plan that can help you to potentially achieve your social media goal of making some $X amount in sales/profit, through social media in your business
  • Set up your website with your product/service correctly to profit
  • Ensure that your social media presence is correctly set up to profit
  • Ensure that your website is correctly aligned with your social media presence for profit
  • Ensure that you are getting to enough targets (potential customers) daily, weekly, monthly, on the social media
  • Ensure that you are generating enough sales daily, weekly, monthly from the social media

You will need to determine if you can do any of these by yourself too, in your business. If you cannot do some or all of these by yourself, you may choose to learn how to do them, and/or choose to pay others to do them for your business. You can generally choose to work with an expert, that is, an expert social media strategist (as your employee, or as a third party service through outsourcing) on these in your business.

Not being able to determine or define all or any of the above (that is, the business researches that your business will need to do to profit, the social media strategy/plan that can help you to potentially achieve your social media sales/profit goal etc) correctly for your business, can generally lead to a lot of issues with generating sales through the social media for your business. Hence, it is generally ideal and advisable for you to use experts for these, in your business.

An expert business researcher should generally be able to know how to research your business for profit. While an expert social media strategist (that is, a social media expert, who knows how to work the social media to generate sales, and who has some experience with generating some sales for one or more businesses on the social media) should generally be able to ensure that you can achieve some level of success, and/or achieve your social media goal of, making some $X amount of sales/profit in your business, through the social media.

You may choose to be the expert business researcher for your business (if you know how to research businesses for profit), and/or the expert social media strategist for your business (if you know how to work the social media to generate sales, and you have some experience with generating some sales for one or more businesses on the social media).

You should ideally determine what you can do by yourself, and what you may need to pay others to do for your business, if you wish to ensure that you can profit and achieve your social media sales/profit goal, especially if you are thinking of using DIY (do-it-yourself) social media marketing, to profit through the social media, in your business.

You are not likely to be able to do everything that your business will need to do to profit through the social media all by yourself alone, hence you should ideally know what you can do for your business, and what will be better for others to do, for you and your business, if you would want to be able to achieve your business’ social media sales/profit goal(s), within the specific period of time that you may have set or defined for it.

All the foregoing are some of what you will generally need to do, in order for you to profit through the social media in your business.
